This evening, Ellis set up the train track to play with Kevin. I was upstairs feeding Lincoln. I could hear Kevin crying intermittently and wondered what was causing him to cry. After a little while Ellis came up and told me what was going on:

He would calmly push and pull all of these trains along the track, but sometimes the chain of cars would break. This is where the bursts of tears and crying would occur. He would get so upset about it sometimes and just say, "Oops!" other times. Who knows what he was thinking when he would get upset? Maybe he was imagination was running wild. . .

Even so, he would fix the trains and calm down enough to enjoy playing until the next time. He was a little bit of a dramatic engineer tonight, but we can probably attribute that to his lack of sleep.

And earlier today, we visited Aunt Jenni's house. Kevin had fun playing with cousins, and so did Lincoln. His girl cousins loved holding him and were very successful in changing this serious face into. . .

a smiling one!
