As we were finishing our preparations to visit family in St. George on Monday, December 22nd, a visitor came by. It was no shock that Kevin was
very hesitant to go to the man in the red suit and big white beard. He has been very clingy lately with me. This was the first attempt at a photo.
Once I picked him up and let him explore the idea from a comfortable spot, he warmed up to Santa Claus.
Then, Santa insisted that we all take a picture together with him. It's not the best picture of all of us, but Kevin was much more welcoming to this setup and at least looks pleasant.
The next day we drove to St. George. We stopped in Provo to pick up Becky. The trip went quick and we were happy to get out of the car. There was just one problem. Kevin was in a new environment. He wasn't happy unless Mommy was in view and even then he wasn't sure if he wanted to be happy. But he warmed up little by little to everyone. On the day before Christmas, we took him over to see his Great Grandma Rygg, and the two of them had a great time together. What a happy scene!
We're so glad that we got to spend time in St. George with the Rygg Family. Thanks everyone!
