Our favorite place to hike!

Grandeur Peak is up Millcreek Canyon in Salt Lake. We hiked there the summer before we got married and we were richly rewarded with an amazing view. It's a moderately difficult hike, but it's close and beautiful. We've been there a few more times including September of this year. Here are Kevin and Ellis close to the beginning of the hike when we were all still full of energy.
We took Kevin up last spring and it was long and difficult hike. It was still worth the view at the top, but he was a lot more fun to hike with this year. Here he is learning some new words:



It was fun to see him want to explore in the mountains. Whenever we go on walks these days, he's much more inclined to look and touch everything he sees than just sit in the stroller. It's fun to see the light in his eyes as he learns more and more.

This isn't the most flattering picture of all of us, but if you focus on Kevin, you can't really go wrong and we don't have a lot of pictures of all of us together.
